Mercedes Baker was born in Guatemala and grew up in Finksburg, Maryland. She graduated from Westminster High School and from Carroll Community College, Cum Lauda. She created her own photography business in 2018.  Mercedes is currently a student at Savannah College of Art and Design as a Production Design Major with a focus in Themed Entertainment Design and Minor in Photography. She has extensive experience in Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and she continues to hone her 3D skills.
Through completing the Disney College Program, Mercedes developed advanced communication and collaborative skills working alongside corporate leadership and diverse global audiences. This experience ignited her creative ambition, ultimately leading to invaluable mentorship from former Disney Imagineers. Today, Mercedes enjoys designing immersive environments that captivate and inspire audiences. As she steps into the next chapter of her career, she notes: "I am ready to create something unforgettable!'"
